Seasonal financing: UAN 26+4S procurement case for an agricultural enterprise in the Mykolaiv region

A farm in Mykolaiv region attracted financing for the purchase of liquid nitrogen fertilizers under a partnership program between GROSSDORF and Oschadbank. Thanks to this program, the farmer was able to purchase the necessary amount of UAN 26+4S without withdrawing working capital during the period of active preparation for the season. After the financing was approved, the fertilizer was shipped on time, allowing the farmer to start applying it on schedule.

For the farm, this meant maintaining liquidity during the peak expenditure period, ensuring a predictable financial burden, and securing timely supply of inputs to the fields. This represents the first practical outcome of the partnership, confirming the effectiveness of the fertilizer procurement financing model without imposing additional pressure on farms’ working capital during the peak season.

“Our objective was not merely to sign a memorandum, but to launch a fully operational financial instrument for farmers. The first completed transaction proves that the partnership between the manufacturer and the bank delivers tangible results. Speed during the season is a competitive advantage,” the company GROSSDORF stated.

The first transaction marked the beginning of a systematic cooperation. As of today, several clients are already at the financing approval stage within the program, indicating strong interest among agricultural producers in the new instrument.

The partnership between GROSSDORF and Oschadbank is entering a scaling phase, opening up additional opportunities for agricultural producers to prepare for the season in a timely manner and ensure a stable supply of fertilizers for their operations.
